40 ain't shit... for the most part. I realize hangovers don't go away as fast as they used to, but that's about it. :cheers:

I thought I was old also when I turned 40 but it turned out not to be true. I could still do everything I did when I was 25 and a little grey in the hair made me look sexy according to my wife who obviously knows. Now that I am 54, I still feel good but my elbow hurts which I think I hurt a tendon but don't remember how and I twisted my left knee which swelled up after a run with the Pit Bull and Rat Terrier (they tripped me up a little) and noticed it when I tried to kneel down to give them a bath. Both injuries have been around for months. I still run and just make sure I go straight but my elbow tendon hurts like shit sometimes.

I can even still catch for my nephew and throw a baseball pretty darn good which is my passion. And best of all, I can ride my Ridgeback forever which means the most to me.

You young guys want some cheese to go with your wining? I would love to be 40 again but 21 years later ain't so bad. like Toby Kieth says I aint as good as I once was but I'm as good once as I ever was. Besides it an excuse to take a nap whenever I want too.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Your are still a young pup. Enjoy your day and don't worry about being old, it comes to you everyday on day at time. I know at 68 everything hurt, elbows, knees, back, but once you crank up that dog it all seems to go away :2thumbs:

I feel like a youingster when I see the ages of some of the others who have posted in this thread. My high school diploma has the same year on it as your birth certificate.

I don't mind hearing snap, crackle, and pop in the morning but I wish it was from the bowl of cereal and not me getting out of bed.

Congrats and happy birthday. If you think 40 is old, wait until you turn 60 LOL!!! As long as your feet hit the floor in the morning its a good day. Better than the alternative!!!!
