FSD Exhausts wants to give back!

With all due respect I believe your numbers are retail for having the work done. $50 R&D???? Once the plans are made it cost nothing per pipe.

$80 hr to bend the pipes??? I don't think so.

Tack weld $40 Their welders must get paid $120 an hr. same with weld and clean up.

I know they need to make $$ to stay in business but $699 for 2 pieces of pipe is a little too much in my book. Seems as soon as it goes on a bike the prices triple or more and us bikers are more than willing to pay for it so it goes on and on.

My buddy owns a muffler shop and makes the same style pipes for $120 not chromed. Retail chroming is around $80 so he makes money at $120 and the chrome shop makes money at $80 which is $200.... I'm sure at their shop mass producing them they make them for less than that. As long as we pay the "price" we will always "pay the price"

Besides that they are too loud and have no back pressure unless you spend more $$ on baffles. I guess some people have more money then sense... And some people love their "garage art"
Not sure what you expect to pay for an aftermarket pipe? but I can assure you the are quality and very well priced. Take a look at some v&h pipes and what they ask, better yet I bought a pair of MLB twisted pipes a few years ago and paid about 1200 and their heatshields sucked... I have the fsd sinfuls on the big bear and love them. I love my garage art even when it's in pieces lol...

Thank you for your posts. We value your feedback. We would like to address the cost estimates of the Hot Rod.

FSD Exhausts would love to be able to produce an American made exhaust for $100. Unfortunately, we cannot. Our cost of manufacturing is more than triple the cost estimate of $100 quoted by a fellow member. Our superior craftsmanship and quality, is second to none and made by American workers in the U.S.A, not overseas.

We have been creating exhausts for almost 14 years. If there is a way to create a custom, after market Hot Rod look, curvy design, well engineered, fully stepped heat shields, show quality chrome and 16 gauge steel, for $100, please let us know how. We would welcome you to our Team.

Some of our competitor’s exhaust prices are almost double our advertised price. We lowered the cost of our Hot Rod exhaust with the best of intentions. We had no idea we would be criticized for rolling back the price. Regardless, we will continue to deliver superior quality exhausts happily to our existing and ever widening customer base.

We look forward to your continued feedback, sharing ideas, featuring customer bikes, testimonials, showcasing new designs and Frankie’s one of a kinds.

FSD are the pipes ceramic coated? Do you have problems with blueing? If not im in!! Most people pay 700 for Vance & Hines on here and EVERYONE has them. 699 sounds damn good to me as I have looked around everywhere and what will fit a Big Dog usually runs in the 700-1100 range

I have had them on and the only discoloration is around the heads which is expected the heat shields have held up very well. Quality chrome !

The exhaust is not ceramic, but that of show quality chrome. Will the exhaust blue? They do not visibly blue due to the heat shields. FSD Exhausts has undergone rigorous R&D. Frankie designed the heat shields in such a way that they wrap perfectly around the exhausts. They are stepped heat shields, the first of its kind, to give you that hotrod look and feel. Customers can’t believe the exhausts even has heat shields. As you step back and look at the Hot Rod, it truly is a functioning work of art.

We currently have these in stock and ready to ship today. If you have any other questions, please give us a call at 786-975-6085.

I want to jump in on this offer from FSD, but I'm not too sure about the pointed tips. Does everyone have the same pointed tips? I'd prefer just a plain cut.
Nice looking pipes!

Well sometimes you have to ignore some of the people, cause you can't ever please them.

some would find something to complain about if you had them out in the yard picking up hundred dollar bills......it's too hot out here.....I'm tired of picking up all this money.....:loony:

I have an '08 Ridgeback with the 330 rear tire, I'm also running the S&S dual runner intake. Is there anyone else out there running these pipes on a Ridgeback?
