Ya, maybe... until you hit I-4 at exit 55 and it's backed up until exit 107. :bang:

For a great ride until I-4 take: I-75 to Punta Gorda exit 164 rt 17 N. to Zolfo springs and take a right on rt 64 E. At rt 27 turn left and go North until you hit the worlds longest parking lot I-4.... Have fun!

I'm staying as far away from interstates as I can, lots of small roads leading to Daytona that are a ton more fun to ride.

BTW, I just booked us in Daytona Resort and Spa, so that's where we will be staying. Great place with walking distance to Main Street, Boardwalk, Rats Hole bike show and more, it also has covered parking with guards watching the bikes and beach/ocean view for the ladies.....

I try to fix my self. Got just home from Kansas trip, felt like a shit. Doctor said I have 102 fewer and my lungs sound horrible... She gave me two shots on both butt sheeks, so now my butt hurts too! Shitload of pills from farmacy... No wonder the last week of the trip felt a bit like work...

Sorry to hear bro. We all just went through the same crap and Maria is still not over it. I called in sick for a week and a half and got rid of it. Hoping for a speedy recovery for you.

Not from the South West you won't. If you want to get to Daytona you will have to travel I-4 or find some crazy way around it but I've tried and didn't get far and I've lived here for 35 years now.

You can get off at exit 107 and go North to rt44 and in but by that time I-4 is pretty open. Also, I try to stay out of Daytona because my friend who is a cop there said he has a $2,500 a day quota to write. There are a lot of places around Daytona that have great entertainment and good prices without the hassle. Fox head, Cabbage patch, Alley in Sanford, The hotel on 44 outside Orange city by the biker flea market, the main street bar in Orange city and all the bars on Rt1 up and down the coast. Sunday in Daytona is best because most bikers are going home, the cops are off and the vendors are giving stuff away because they don't want to take it home. That's the only day I go into town.

Never had a problem going, coming, or during. Good times and good friends. I never use I-4 during events if I can help it.
