I'm jealous of you guys with longer riding seasons. And I'm not a fair weather rider - I like it warm! Temps supposed to drop like a rock now.

So the bike has been running awesome and I left work early today to ride! Went about 200 miles total today - thru southern Indiana along the Ohio River, Aurora, Rising Sun, Patriot, Vevay, down to Madison Indiana - a nice ride!!

I'm so glad I finally have all the bugs worked out and she is running like new!

How did you miss Tell City:lol:that is some petty country along the river. I'm headed to Lexington, Ky this weekend and they are talking about lows in the 30's at night. Hate to say it but winter is just around the corner for some.

Ya winter is coming. I'm here in Pensacola fl for the week and it's down to 86* today. Tomorrow a cold front is coming through and it's going down to a chilly 78*... Time to get the jacket out.

Thanks WB - I really think the dog is in great shape now, should be a good bike! Just a little getting her back up to par from where the old owner neglected her.

Was a great day a little farther north too. Rode about 150 miles yesterday afternoon. Raining like crazy today and the temps are going to drop. Working out a couple of issues on the bike today and a good cleaning. I am optimistic I think we will have some good days yet.

Glad to hear that it's running good. I am hoping we catch a few more good days of riding. You going to the hill climbs next Sunday? We have a pretty big group leaving from Fairfield area.

Ever been there on a Thursday night? What a place.... Maria and I accidentally stumbled in to the arrangement they have downtown on Thursday nights and loved every second of it. Who knew the best sushi can be had on an outside restaurant in downtown Lexington? Not to mention their brilliant selections of adult beverages.....

Hang in there Franco! It will get better. I had a shitload of issues to work thru on my 03, and missed a real good chunk of the summer riding. The part I didnt miss was fingers crossed hoping to make it home. Now I finally feel she is ready for long trouble free rides - but it took a long time to get there. So hang in there and you will be back on the Dog b4 u know it!! :whoop:

Took the dog out today, 86* sun shining no rain through the orange groves and cattle ranches here in central Fl. All 2 lane roads and no traffic just lots to see. Couldn't ask for a better day. Caught a county sheriff stopped under a tree in the shade and BS with him for awhile. It's so laid back here and the people and scenery are awesome. I feel sorry for all you guys up North in that cold weather. We have the next 3 months of beautiful weather coming and then just 2 months of 60* cold and then another 4 months of beautiful 70+* weather to look forward to.

Dogs running good, still hot wired but I'm not going to mess with it when it's this nice out. Daytona next week!
