NO POWER IN MY MODULE

Bike has been down for 3 days no lights no nothing checked everything . this morning i turned the switch on and the lights came on so i hit the start button, the Power Module started buzzing and vibrating for 3 seconds then everything shut off again.Is there a way to test that module are do i have bigger problems,please help the nearest Big Dog mechanic is 4 hours away.

The battery is new but i will get it load tested in the morning, hope its that simple been chaseing gremlins for a couple of days now.

Check voltage on the battery. By new, you just brought it home? Batteries sit on shelves for a long time sometimes and need a complete charge up, especially for our Dogs....check the voltage of the battery while trying to start the bike....

Ok checked the voltage on battery while cranking it and it droped to 8.3 what should it be?

I have the same problem (similar) mine drops to 9.00 something.... too low...

My Battery is fucked (two and a half years old) but my problem comes from my Charging System....

Check voltage on the battery. By new, you just brought it home? Batteries sit on shelves for a long time sometimes and need a complete charge up, especially for our Dogs....check the voltage of the battery while trying to start the bike....

:iagree: your problem (so far) seems to be the battery... get the thingy fully charged first. :up:

AND!!!! Make sure ALL connections are CLEAN & TIGHT! (you would be surprised how easily these connections get lose! :up:

Buy a new battery and charge it up before using it first. By charging it up, I mean use a battery charger to charge it not a battery tender.
