BAD FUEL PUMP

:bang:WELL GUYS, HAD TO PUT A NEW FUEL PUMP ON THE 2007 BULLDOG. WHEN I HIT THE RUN BUTTON IT SOUNDED LIKE ALL HELL BREAKING LOSE. WHAT A NOISE. EVEN WHEN RUNNING SOUNDED LIKE THE BEARRING WERE JUST SHOT. $289.00 FOR THE PUMP & 1 1/2 LABOR.....NO WAR.:down:

My 07 Bulldog left me stranded on the highway Saturday, just suddenly died. I could no longer hear the pump running before I hit the start button, it turns over but wont start. I believe it is the pump, any advice on locating one ?

Fuel pumps are not too hard to find, the are made by Walbro. Do you hear the fuel pump relay click on for about two seconds when the run button is pushed?

Im in thus boat now. Looking for a pump. Same problems. Rolling down the road when it quits. O7 bulldog.

When you replace the pump, don't forget about the pressure regulator or at least inspecting the O-rings, the reg is also Walbro for about $35.00. My Wolf wouldn't start sometime ago . I thought it was the pump but turned out to be a simple O-ring on the regulator where it goes into the housing, it became dry and brittle over the years and wouldn't hold the pressure.
