I was out riding yesterday when some guy in a pickup few vehicles ahead of me locked em up to turn into a frigin car wash. I wasn't told that till later but I had to lay it down to avoid slamming into a Jeep in front of me. I got knocked out momentarily with a huge welt on my head and now a black eye not to mention road rash bumps and bruises but Ill heal before long.

They just brought my bike back and its not that bad, paint has a slight scratch in the rear fender and Im going to have to replace ...

Lower front fork tube, chrome is scratched ..
Head light housing is wrecked
primary cover had slight dent
Left front and rear directional are broken off..
Clutch lever housing has a good chip taken out of it.
license plate holder is snapped off
Left brake lever and peg and also the foot peg are twisted and need to be replaced and maybe the shifter arm...

I called Donna and it sounds like they are off till the 7th of Sept, does anyone know where else I can get prices on these parts so I can get an estimate done?

Sorry to hear about your bike man, but glad to hear your ok!!! Heal up and get that bike back on the road! Drivers without any clue of whats behind them really piss me off  !!! Good luck with it. FWI, I just bought a forward control set off a 2006 (waiting for it to come)just cause I wanted the pegs, plan on selling the rest if you need parts.

:( Ouch. Glad to hear you are ok. It could've been a lot worse. Fantastic news that the damage isn't bad. Easy to fix and get back in the saddle soon. If you have another bike, get out and ride a little.

Glad to hear you will be ok. I hate hearing when an act of stupidity causes a loss on an innocent person. Hope you get your bike fixed soon. Good luck.

I don't remember exactly wat I told them but I laid it down but it was going down on its own , I couldn't hold it up . I hit the brakes and it started sliding sideways so I let off for a second and when it started to straighten out , I could clearly see I had no choice but to lock them up and hope for the best outcome.

What happened just happened , the bike really starts to kick sideways when you have to hit the brakes hard, I don't remember that with the 250 tire I previously had notr the Harleys, maybe it just me, who knows.
