Bet my spelling is worse. No, I understand the principal, but I want a fluid flow, no excess air pressure inside the engine, especially at the bottom end. If we want top end down flow, we can't get oil up to the top end with the sump oil not about to move you take that plug out and spray at the crank wheel.
If I had oil and proper crank pressure up the top end, I can see a fast oil leak before your compressor fills with air and I come back around the block, where are we at I caught both the oil and air, you only caught air + induced damage?
You can't sell me on a ride vs. seal damage and me flooding the top end with oil not air. The weak analogy is I am looking for an oil leak, not an air leak. I hear another variable thrown in causing more leaks. No, I ride the leak out, not start blowing in another variable = No extra leak someplace else.
Signed,
:2thumbs: Good luck on the choices presented.

And who said I didn't get it you come back now with the 'don't do this and don't do that and I did not bring in any caution. FuckingA you didn't get it.
