Yep, that's the one, ASM5012, I still have the stock EHC, no worries there

Where are you getting it from? you know you can get it ready with BDM plugs so it will be Plug & Play, do you?

You will like it :D

Oh... Also, make sure you get the Software too!

Thank you for the info.........I can buy direct from THeart or Kaptin America doesn't he sell them as well?

The Spaniard
That's correct. both can sell it to you with the right plugs.

Oh yeah... EA5012 & ASM5012 are the same thing.... I did ask TH a couple years ago when I bought mine... EA is the old code they used to have.

I am using preset #3 (30 degrees). I think most of us are using #3 or #4....

I can email you the Manual for it if you like.

I was set on 3 for awhile and I started to get some valve chatter above 3500 rpm's under load riding 2up, and I switched up to 4, seems much better, I guess time will tell. I might even switch back to my stock one with my style of riding

To "go back to stock" just dial your Module to position "0" or "1" .... I cannot really understand your reasoning in going from #3 up to #4, that's advancing the timing even more degrees (further away from stock)

You prefer to go back to limited HP with stock ignition?
I don't think the TH really adds much and 98% of my riding is 2-up

I thought the factory timing is 32 , which is #4, and #3 was 30Deg

Here are the close settings for the Ignition if you set it out of the box by the dial on the front of the module. Stock compression will require 30-32 degrees of total advance. I set mine at 4, I had tried it at 5, but went back to 4. You will need to possibly go down to 3 if you are at a higher elevation.

Setting 2 is 28 degrees
Setting 3 is 30 degrees
Setting 4 is 32 degrees
Setting 5 is 34 degrees
Setting 6 is 36 degrees
