04 pitbull ehc problem?

This weekend i was replacing the battery on the 04 pit, while tightening the hot side the wrench hit the Thunderheart ignition switch and made a spark (aluminum piece with heart and sword emblem, and one red led). After tightening, I turned the key on and all of the dash lights came on (turn signals, bright light, oil pressure and neutral) and stayed on. Normally it would just be the oil pressure and neutral lights. I pressed run and tried to start, and got nothing. Rechecked all the connections, and again nothing. I have noticed that the one red led light on the Thunderheart is not coming on. And I never realized it before, but the EHC has led lights too and three of those lights are on. All turn signals, headlight and LP light come on, however none of the hand controls work, turn signals, bright light. I let it sit for a day and tried again, turned the key on and the damn thing tried to start on its own, and I had it in gear! Almost got away from me! lol. Does this sound like an EHC problem or something else? Anything else I can check? Thanks.

Remove ground off the battery.
Turn the key on.
If you can find the hot side of the EH, take that battery tool and ground the hot wire to ground. Why? I want to run a default restart up my saved RAM. I want to wipe that out in the save me keep me hot is no I don't!
I want my RAM erased so ROM throws in the out of the box here I am brand new like I wiped my hard drive and I'm new out of the box >>> nothing saved. Why?

Seems like it wants to take off on its own, starts, runs, etc. No I didn't burn out my EH? Budid U dirty mouth my EH like that, why I oughta....

If it tried to start on its own I don't think your ignition is fried. Start by checking each and every connector. Clean and dielecteic grease each one. Don't forget about the wiring between the tanks and the wires under the back fender. A short can drive ya nuts.....

UPDATE. I checked all the wires for a short (under the seat, tank and rear fender), nothing found. I replaced some of the old ring terminals with new water proof ones and reconnected everything with dielectric lube. One thing I noticed, was the ground wire for the EHC is copper, it had green corrosion. I cut it down a few inches to get past the bad part but I think it is like that all the way down to the EHC. is that normal for a ground copper wire to be that way? could that be causing issue?
When I turn the key on all dash lights still come on and stay on, except the right turn signal. All the lights come on, except the head light. And the left tail light seems to be brighter than the right. The same three LED lights on the EHC light up, I beleave its the 6th, 7th, and 8th. The Thunderheart starter ignition LED is still not coming on. any more sudjestions on trouble shooting? or should i just yank the old shit out and replace? if i figure out how to post pictures i will attache them.

Put a Crane or Ultima ign system in it and a starter relay using the ign switch as your ground. Hot wire your headlight and tail lights (you can also run a hot wire to the brake switch) with a switch mounted in your coil cover. At least you will be able to ride. Then you can decide to rewire it old school or go with the new Rest In Peace system.
