Mastiff neutral not engaging

Hi,

I have a 2007 Mastiff that I got back in March, love the bike however, there is a problem with the neutral gear. When stopping at a read light or trying to park and iddle, neutral will not engage at all. It will go all the way to first and if in first gear will jump to second. The only way I can get it to neutral is when I turn the bike off.

Anybody knows what is this about?

1. If I am standing between two flat walls, I stand erect = No friction when the lever is pulled in.
2. If I could still pull the lever in, felt it stop at the pressure plate and all that taking up the cable gap, I sill am erect, only this time you can pass a business card past my flat ass and the wall.
3. If say you moved the walls farther away, I collapse my knees, my back is dragging on the wall.
4. If say I bent over, my fat flat ass is going to drag on the wall.
5. If my friction plates are the flat walls, I am a steel plate and warp, do you see how the more you separate the walls, the more I leave a skid mark bending over and that's why it stinks trying to find N you no listen to turd-ull.

Sven, I think you need to wipe better if you're leaving skid marks, especially if you have a flat azz...:roll:

What you should do is give the throttle a quick blurp while trying to put it in neutral, see if that helps! If it doesn't then, perform the clutch adjustment found in the how to section. You should be golden then.

Readjust the clutch starting with backing off the cable adjustment on your down tube and then the push rod on the throw out bearing. push rod should feel snug on bearing and then back off 1/4 turn, mine is set more like 1/16, its all but touching, then adjust cable.

1. Turtle pointed out about dealing in flat parts is = Drag
2. Turtle now mentions the wave plate needing to be flat [if applies] = Drag
3. Turtle has so much neck out the shell. Isn't that ball and ramp looking to run a hair trigger at the lowest point of the ball position?
