I carried just my rear wheel with old tire and the new tire to the local Harley shop, and they charged me $60 labor plus tire disposal fee, plus shop supplies fee, and wanted to charge me for balancing but I told them no. They didn’t have Dyna beads or anything like them. My valve stems are chrome bolt-in and don’t need to be changed, not sure about valve stems on the ‘03’s. They did check my bearings and said they were good. They had a sign that listed prices and it said a “fat tire” change (200 or larger) was $80, but like I said they only charged me $60. I had changed my front tire myself and I thought their advertised price of $80 was a bargain to change the rear. But I removed my own wheel and took it down in the car to make sure nothing was damaged by someone in a hurry that’s probably unfamiliar with Big Dogs.
