I want to give a brief snapshot of the situation. I traded in my 2008 ultra classic on a 2007 big dog K9. 200 miles after I bought the big dog the mainshaft snapped, of course I did what anybody would do and I googled it, the first site that popped up was big dog biker. I came to learn that there was one man that knew it all about big dog transmissions Andrew a.k.a. big dog tech. And with all my bad luck this fella was in Spain I contacted him through email which he responded immediately to help me out I waited two months for this guy to get back I sent my transmission four days ago with a busted case a broken mainshaft and missing parts in a box that was improperly packed and he's already called me and said it's ready for pick up. I am truly thankful for Andrew and this forum to get me back up on the road:flag::cheers:

Haha, Gibbs!! Good dog!!
It's hard to say with the motors that had been set up with the TP boxes/arms. I have seen some in past fail at 5,000 miles and have seen some that last over 30,000. But I think it's not a matter of, If they will fail, it's a matter of, When.
