ZenBD got me thinking in his post about his Ness kickstand so I took a second look at mine. This doesn't look right at all. I have tried to adjust it with on luck, doesn't change much. What could be wrong?

There is a flat surface on the threaded rod end that locks with a set screw. When mine (set screw) is seated correctly on the flat, the tip is about 30% more counterclockwise than yours. The lean looks good, just the foot on the stand is rotated clockwise too much.

I thought there was a spacer of some sort that was supposed to go between the bike and the kickstand. A wedge of sorts that would correct that problem. I know I saw that somewhere on here. Someone help.

I was looking at these as they are available off the shelf in Australia, that looks terribly un-stable. I would not trust that thing.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that when I first put it on. Matter of fact I was thinking that I didn't have enough lean at first and re adjusted it. It has somehow changed.

Thors is correct rotate the foot back towards the rear tire then adjust the rod..Joker machine no longer sells the 6 degree wedge saw this on there site. There should be at least 1 inch adjustment on the rod.Might want to take kickstand apart to see if the detent or the stop is worn. I carry a small plate to put under foot when asphalt is soft or a beer can.

Made sure the set screw is on the flat with the foot back as far as it goes. Measured the foot from the floor with bike on stand and screwing it in and out doesn't change it very much. Screwed it out until the threads started to show and called it good enough. Out any further doesn't help. I would buy a wedge if available.

Does "not" look stable at all, be very careful when parking! :(

Don't know why the bottom angled peg would be facing forward at all, again dosen't make any sense. :bang:

I have the same kick stand on my Mastiff for a couple years now and even sit on the bike while on the stand with no problems.
