Here we are, another year later and another beautiful Memorial Day weekend upon us in the greatest country to ever appear on the face of this planet - all brought to you by the incredibly patriotic men and women of our armed forces who sacrifice and gave everything so that we can live the free lives we live and sleep well at night.

:flag::flag::flag::flag:Here is to all of the men and women who make the American Dream possible - thank you for all that you do/did. Real Americans will never forget every one of you - God Bless You. :flag::flag::flag::flag:

Thanks to all who have done so much for our country and
those who continue to do it. Memorial Day is all about you
and what you did. It is not just another day off from work
and a reason to have another big sale. The memories of
what you did are alive and well here. Thanks for all you did.

In two weeks, it will be the 70th anniversary of D-day. It is a shame that it has become just another day in history. Educate your kids and grandkids about our past and the sacrifices our parents and grandparents went through, because our schools aren't doing it anymore. I remember when I was in 5th grade, I drew a swastika on my arm, my teacher drug me into the bathroom, and made me scrub every bit of the ink off, with a brush, while she explained why I was scrubbing it. I've never forgot that lesson.

Looking forward to retirement
Thanks to all veterans! Thanks you dad for helping in the Pacific theater in WWII and thank you Uncle Joe who dies during the sea battle during the battle at Anzio Italy during WWII! This is where Uncle joes name is on a wall. His ship's powder magazine was struck and the ship blew up. Very few sailors bodies were found. In 1986 I went on a collage trip called Louisiana Tech Rome and visited the cemetery and saw his memorial wall. It ment the world to my dad I had taken the time to see it. A year later he went and saw it.
