Avon vs Metzler ... or Michelin

So I was reading the thread about Avons coming apart and the Metzler was the way to go. But recently I've had a couple buddies try the Michelin Commander II and so far they like them, but no long term reports yet. Anybody here try them yet?

But I never hear people talking about them on here.

That's good to know b/c the reports on mileage seem better than the Metz .. I still might give this Michelin a try here when my Metzler runs out...unless somebody chimes in with negative feedback on them.

Just curious which one is on the front? I put an elite 3 on the front and it's considerably wider. Rubs the fender just ever so slightly

If it's centered, then it's too wide. Go with one width down. All brands are slightly different.
