Was on the bike today and having issues. I know when u turn the bike on it goes through a cycle and the speedo will move to like 60 and back to 0. What does it mean when it stays at 60 and doesnt show the milage and continues to cycle? It only stops after I drive for a few. Another issue im having is having to push run a few times before pushing the start button to get the starter to engage. Any help would be grateful.

Start by checking the connector at the trans. Make sure its clean and tight. If you have a WP unit installed you shouldn't have to use the run button, turn the key and hit start.
If its stock, you may need to clean the pc switch board. Let us know what ya find....

Is that the one in the housing on the bars?

Start from Basics.

1. make sure ALL connections are CLEAN & TIGHT!

2. give us feedback....

Honestly, start on the easy troubleshooter... connections!!!

Thanks eveyone cleaned the contacts and notice the connector pins weren't making good contact. As soon as I push the run button now the red light on the black box next to battery comes right on.

I think you are talking about the ignition switch. Anything happening when you hit the start button?

Check and make sure your wire is making good contact with the starter post. Disconnect the battery first. The wire on the top post may not have good contact which will cause issues with the starter intermittently cranking. It will also mess with your ingition switch
