Our good friend Garry ( Shamrock ) is in the hospital in Tulsa this morning for a heart procedure. We are praying that a stint will take care of the issue and he will be up and riding again soon.

I know that many of you have met Shamrock on our yearly rides in Sturgis as he has been there for the last six years and of course all of you that has been to Bike,Blues , and BBQ have met him.

Biker babe posted a great picture of him from our last Saturday ride

Just thought the forum would like to be aware of this and maybe we can put up some nice post to make him smile when he's able to read them after his recovery.

Garry my friend , here's to a successful procedure so that you can get out on that green bike and show Split Log how to ride these hills. When you are able to this would be a great reason to set up a third group ride to celebrate .

UPDATE: Garry is in recovery. He had 99% blockage and they put a stint in.

My wife had the same issue...99% blockage. Doc put a stint in and within a couple weeks she was back at it....good as new.

These procedures are a piece of cake nowadays...docs can do them with their eyes closed.

Thanks for posting this David and thanks for the update Kathy. For those of you that don't know Gary he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Talk to him for 5 minutes and you feel like you've known him a life time. Get better Gary

Thanks for the posts, Dave and Kathy. Gary, you certainly have a fan club here in Pittsburg, KS.
Be sure to include Blacktopper and Skogdog in the arrangements for a 'victory lap. Pryor is only about 100 miles, and we get to ride 80+ mph on the Will Rogers Turnpike too.
Gary, I'm looking forward to seeing you soon, and thinking of you as you navigate your way through yet another 'life event'.
