I changed battery and know will not start and horn stays on

I got the same issue. Check battery voltage 12.87v, took it to the shop and tested it = 12.81v with 525cca. Put it on the charger for a bit and got it up to 13.1v, put it in the bike and same thing? Horn blows and the LED lights on the module are going crazy... This happened before so I sent it to the pros and was told that the battery was low and it needed 12.8v run. I have it on a tender when not riding. The
Now here's the weird part ( to me anyways) if I get the garage and bike above 50° it always fires up with no issues? ?

That is what mine is doing. I bought 2 new batteries. And still the same thing. I took it to the shop. And its getting completely rewired. No more ehc. The part that sucks is I have to buynew handlebars. And speedo. But I will I will run every time I stastart it lol

You need 310 minimum :2thumbs:

As Dennis said check the volts when bike is running, put battery on a tender to charge it up. Should be 14.4-14.6v when running

Or you got something draining the battery as the bike sits.

by any chance was the battery you returned an Interstate???

I've read posts in the the past bashing interstate batteries. I bought my bike used 4 years ago (4,000 miles) with an interstate battery. It has 17,000 miles and still running strong with the same battery. I always keep it on a tender even when I pull it for the winter. With that being said I'm sure it will take a crap on me soon. This why I sat silent all his time. Lol. Don't think I would replace it with another interstate when it dies though.

Harley batteries in all my scoots, part number is: 65989-97C

I just put one of these in mine today. The last couple days when I went to start mine I could hear a buzzing sound coming from under the seat that I never heard before and when I pushed the start button it would hesitate for 2-3 seconds before it would turn over, so I figured it was time for a new battery.
When I put the new Harley battery (65989-97C/315CCA) in and tried to start it the 4-way flashers came on and it hesitated to turn it over, so I put it on a trickle charger for 2 hrs and it started the bike so I took it for a 30-40 minute to charge it up. After the ride it spins it fast and it starts right up.
