how did you attache it is the question?

The ends of the sissy bar are threaded and bolts up through the fender struts in counter sunk holes.

That strut is factory, I think the 06 would be the same.

The struts had the plug in it that removes with a allen head bolt from the bottom.

Sweet! That's exactly the look I was going for,but had to settle for a "normal" BDM sissy bar. Now that gives it the cool chopper-look. Well done...I'll take one if you decide to make/sell them!!!
