Batt ?

So I have my batt tend jr on the bike for 48 hrs (which I killed wouldn even turn over) and still no green time for new batt huh?

Just remember that no matter what they tell you bigger is better. Big boar battery 350 cca going on 3 years now never let me down.

May want to pull it out & set it on a 10 amp charge overnight.
small tender may not produce enough amps to bring it back up for a while.

Meh, I'm pretty sure the batt tender floats at like .5 amps but can full charge at 10 amps...either way, a good slow charge is what gives them strength, if it won't hold a good slow one it's toast. Don't be confused if you can zap it back to life for an instant with a 50amp jump or something...my buddy made that mistake a few weeks back...these bikes are HARD to push start on a driveway with gravel at the end! WHY cant you charge it for 2hrs at 2amps like the owners manual says?Then use the wall plug transformer to maintain it.Like the owner manual says to do.Thats all that tender is designed to do right?

Came home from work turned the key for the hell of it no light or anything:bang: I currently have no seat so I have some time so I will try the 2 amp charge then if no luck buy a big boar 350

Yuasa battery

I've always had good luck with Yuasa batteries. I just replaced the original battery on my 03 Chopper with the 310 cca Yuasa YTX20HL-BS. It was only $79.99. Motor Factory #666105. And the new 310 cranks alot better than the 5 yr. old original battery. I've never used a charger but picked up a Battery Tender Junior with .75 amp maintenance charge. For the money I don't think you can beat this battery.

I got it at Jireh Cycles. They are out of Festus, MO. Free shipping on anything over $75. I bought the Big Boar 350 cca softail battery because I needed the positive terminal on the right hand side for my Chopper. The battery came two days later via FedEx.
