i believe Jake took it down due to the fact he was being so abused by people that didn't even buy the WP from him. there is only so much you can do for some people that have no clue, but it ends up hurting everyone.

I had the same problem trying to find it, maybe once a How-To is posted it should not be able to be deleted. If that is possible.

Kind of like taking the only ball and going home in the middle of the game.

I may have it on a old computer, I'll have to dig it out and hook it up and see if it's still there.

PM me your email and I'll send you a PDF.
HMAN, Would you consider sending me that same PDF file of installing that wiring harness. I have a 05 Ridgeback that has quit running. I am new and not familiar with all forum terms. Like (PM)

I gotcha Tom yeah I know there were several duche bags that treated him like the installtion was his responsibility too, shame the How To was deleted, I remember reading it through and it was very thorough. I planned to use it if/when my EHC dies. Does Jake ever chime in any more or did he get sick of all this?

Oh and you have earned the Sir Old Fart Esquire title....

jake was here back on the 6th, still around occasionally. he is/was selling his RB (damn clean skoot) and in my opinion, whoever gets it will have one with all the bugs worked out of it and ALOT of bling that nobody else has. things in life change and you have to go with it most of the time to maintain sanity. i wish him luck.

EHC Replace w Wire Plus

I made a copy of Jake's original installation instructions, but am having difficulty uploading. It is 3.75 MB and uploads are limited to 19.5 KB.

Also, it was created with Microsoft Word for Macintosh on an Apple computer. It will not readable with some Windows PCs.

C'est la vie :D

I never did make it to Hanoi, but I wanted to believe me. But I was everywhere else north of Da Nang. If you see a couple or 6'3' Mexicans running around there tell them hi for me they might be my kids.

Carlos!
This old fart could have crossed paths with you if you were there in 69-70.

I was with the 101st Abn Div out of Camp Eagle. Was the G3 Ops Liaison Officer to 3rd Marine Div in Dong Ha.

When the Marines moved out of country in Sept 69, I was assigned as liaison to the Vietnamese Provincial Forces in Hue. My counterpart was a Dai Uy (Captain) Hong. He was originally commissioned with the army of Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi in 1951. He helped kick the French out of Indochina in 1954 at Dien Bien Phu.

Interesting times.

I was there March 1967 to April 1968. Got wounded on September 1967 outside Con Tien an area called OP-3. Was out of commission for about 10 days and back to the grinder :D. I traveled down Perfume river from hue to Qua Viet and on to Dang Ha during the Tet Offensive kicked ass and came home April 68. Went back on April 1970, was Platoon Commander as an E-6 with India Company 3rd Bn 5th Marines Regiment 1st Mar Div. We got pulled out of the Que Son Area on Feb 1971. Those with more than 90 days got sent to other units, I came home to mama thumbs: Thanks God.

We may have shoot at each other, which is why I didn't offer to help :roll: :job:
