Nice Bike Bubba :2thumbs:

Pictures just don't do justice to these newer Pitbulls. They look so much better in person, and that's when the large diameter rims really stand out. :D
Agreed much better in person. It's deceiving from a far you don't realize how big/long it actually is...the bike that is:D

They def don't look as long as they actually are... I've got a 24' v-nose trailer being built to keep my '66 in and with the Pitt at almost 9'... well it's a long as trailer. lol

So, when you going to pick it up? lol

Ok guys I just got the bike back. I'm embarrassed to show you these pictures.:( The bike needs a good cleaning, and the pictures are poor quality. But my excitement level if off the hook:D, and I had to at least share something with you guys.

My personal opinion.....this is the way this bike should have come from the factory. :2thumbs: I think the stock setup looks like a 1/2 attempt at a old school look. Now the bike looks Bad A$$ !! (again that was just my opinion, everyone's vision is different)

I'll share some better pictures as soon as the weather permits.

I also wanted to mention that there is a nice Youtube video of a white 2008 Big Dog Pitbull that also had the Drop Solo seat and the Drag Handle Bar kit at:

The ride as a rigid isn't bad. Well at least I don't mind it.:)

I'm still young enough where looks are more important than comfort.:loony:

The Big Dog drop seat is pretty firm. Sterling's Cycle Accessories...makes the same seat with the gel inside the seat. (Sterling's seat might be a little more comfortable.)

I love love love the new handlebars. Not only do I think they look better, I really like the change in arm/hand positioning.:2thumbs:

Hi Earl,

Yes I've been a member of the CNY Kayak Club since 2008. The current active group of kayakers are all really good people. We've had some great kayak outings, and our weekend camping trips are always a lot of fun. I'm also a certified ACA Kayaking instructor. Do you kayak as well?

My kayaking pictures can been seen at: Picasa Web Albums - Greg Ramsey

It looks like we are finally getting closer to having some weather we can ride in.:2thumbs:

Well....I ended up ordering the Drop Seat & Drag Handle Bar kit from BigDog. After I get this stuff installed I'll follow up with some pics.

Thanks
what are the odds that you still have the stock handlebars from your Pitbull?

Just in case anyone is still interested in this topic .... I have the document (PITBULL DRAG HANDLEBARKIT P/N 153-000026-01) that came with my handlebar kit. It shows the parts list with part numbers .... and the installation instructions. Message me with your email address and I can email it to you. :D
