Handlebars... Help

Guys,

Today I´ve noticed the throttle cables were touching the tank... then, after further inspection I also noticed the handlebars do have a little bit of "up & down" movement....

The bolts underneath are tight... but the rubber inside seems to be out of place or broken?

I need your opinions/advice please...

got mine from Curtis,,,, make sure you torque them,,, feels like a new bike... although I just sold my ridgeback,,,, lol

I ordered 3 feet of this clear thick protector film to but on places where "things" rub, do an EBAY search for: Clear Gloss Superior Helicopter Bike Frame Protection, and it should pop up. Watch the video, very impressive on how resilient this stuff is. It comes from the UK, takes several weeks to arrive but well worth the wait, really thick and transparent, really hard to notice. I have what appears to be the same material on the upper part of the triple tree where the cables rub, appears to be put on when the bike was made. Something you may want to put on the tank where the cables rub...just a suggestion

Something is definitely wrong with the bushings.

1. Replace the bushings on the handlebar with new ones, polyurethane preferably.

2. Cut that tie wrap with the fuel hose in between them, and keep that airplane mechanic wannabe away from your bike, you should be all set.

Talking about handle bars .. I have a 2005 Pitbull .. Does anyone know the stock handle bar size (o.d) so I can replace my controls and grips ?

Yup, I went with the Polyurethane ones and Puuurrfect!!!! :2thumbs:
