Has anyone used this product. it looks very straight forward and I will be able to get rid of that Big Dog PDM Module mess

I have a 2004 chopper and love it when it starts

Why of course,

I used a Deutsch Crimp Tool but you don't have to. Take your time and check the connections and function as you go and all will be good. Do a search on the forum and you will find a lot of info on this.

Fuck the Intro's:lol:..................9 times out of 10 when someone gets on here the very first time its BECAUSE there bike has taken a shit on them and there freaking out and starting to panic about how to fix it,and looking for help..........like WE ALL HAVE done........(Myself Included).....

Anyways Drexal, WELCOME to the Big Dog Biker Website:2thumbs::2thumbs:...... About the Wire Plus Question you asked......YES lots of people on here have retro-fitted there bikes with that product,BUT ITS MY OPINION AND MANY OTHERS that they fuc*ing suck:down:,DUE TO THE FACT that they consisently BURN UP the switching modules in them over and over.....and then it takes 6 years to get another switching module, and WirePlus 99% of the time will not give you a switching module for free, even though there GARBAGE and they know they have a issue with them..........Anyways goodluck and best wishs with your Big Dog.........
There are A LOT OF VERY knowledgeable people on here and 2 Factory Big-Dog techs on here also:).........Lots of stuff to learn about these bikes Brother:):up:.........

For me, the Wire Plus has been working very good as a replacement for the original EHC which I still have in a spare parts box and has been tested SAT. However, I either did something right to fix an intermittent problem or got lucky with Wire Plus but I am very happy with my Dog's electrical system. I have to believe you either get a good unit or you get a problem child. So, if you have a good original system, Wire Plus, M-Unit, complete rewire, or PDM, it doesn't matter as long as it functions correctly for you.:D

I just installed a pdm kit in my 04 ridgeback and all is good easy to do except for the two green wires in the speedo plug. You have to check continuity to determine which wire is which.
