I think I paid about $90 on an eBay auction, so that probably doesn't count. I will probably wait one more year for the warranty to expire before I put it in - but others have, and I'm sure they'll offer their opinion.

SIICK!!!
I just had the .600 S&S cam installed....and I already had the .640 springs in it....
haven't taken the bike out for a ride yet....waiting for the roads to dry up a bit and wash some of that salt off...bike sounds good! Gas Man and alot of others are running the .600 cam also...:whoop:

curious, how do you know if you have the right springs? and what is the average cost to have a cam installed? thanks

You'll want a three spring setup, instead of Big Dog's dual spring. .600 lift cam is great for top end horsepower, while losing bottom end. Also, steep ramps on the backside, so you'll notice more valvetrain noise - like there isn't already enough. Low end torque, use the .585. High horsepower numbers are only good for barstool racing!

don't rule out a Woods cam either - designed by Woods and made by Andrews - me and a couple others are running the .650 - works well
