Where to start...sometimes the ehc will light up for about 4 sec when I turn key on then I just get horn hazards and no ign lights so cant start bike...then sometimes ill get it started then and runs awesome.sometimes will run then cut out within minutes of riding and will do that non stop but run led is still alight..when this happens i can hit run and it will carry on sometimes it wont...rev gauge isnt reading properly when this happens and will flash every rev light..after a while speedo shows condensation on face..
If checked all terminals hunted for loose wires also cleaned ehc connections and applied dielectric grease and still doing it...im lost lol

Check your connectors going to the Key Switch under your ignition cover and under the tank, wiggle your key switch in the on position to see if that causes your bike to shutdown, replace your key if defective, check your battery terminal connections, check your Ground from the negative terminal to ground for good clean connection, and then send your EHC to Curtis to test it at Search Results : Wild Steed Worx & Services, When the road is your trail

Also check you VR. I had most of the same problems you do, then it literally caught fire and I replaced it with an aftermarket (US made) and now everything has magically gone away. Runs great... When I'm not servicing it lol.
I had a thread somewhere in that event. Cycle Electric is the name if the company that does top notch VR's. Pm me if ya have any Q.

This could be dry joints on the PCB board if there are no other lose connections, i am currently trying to find out if there is a market for people wanting me to "open up" the EHC and repair them.

So??? Curtis (AKA KaptinAmerica) and I keep sending parts to eachother by Post quite often, now I have to send my Starter to him... it is not cheap as if we were living in the US but... you will have to "Bite the Bullet" or find someone local who knows what he's doing!
Get in touch with the Kiwis in this site and someone might know of a good mechaninc?
