Dude you live in my neck of the woods, why have I not seen that bike on the road?

if by S&S you mean the dual runner, I can tell you from experience that it will completely cover up the carb. The DM setup like on Brooks will show off whatever carb you have.

Alright Brooks ....I'll get different mirrors.
Seriously man you got some pics of your choices... We'd like to see what you're leaning towards. And yeah you can make it a real voting poll too.

Thanks NUKE I appreciate that some day I hope to get the same D6 Dragon Springer front end as Splitlog and take it to the next level.

Jason I regularly run up and down Hwy 20 in Niceville, and I love a nice lap around the bay, do it all the time. I'm out there man! Hit me up one day.

S&S looks to be out.....a few other options

I Like the D&M like this Superslot...maybe black with machined bevels......
I think you could overdue the Diamond cut.

Black Fastair is already machined and the Reddish filter will work with the pinstripes.

Some Wimmer stuff is way cool as well....Maybe a black Minimax.... The Moto stack is cool but only fits an E.

And the winner is!

:bang:

THIS ONE!

Brooks, will do.

flcmcya,
That Performance Machine one is nice. However I still do not understand why the hell any of these intakes are so damn expensive!?

:2thumbs: Franco, I like your setup. It is very clean. :2thumbs:

Does the filter push your leg out or are you able to be closer in compared to the stock filter setup?

Thanks Huw,

Before installing the 3" forward extensions, with the stock pegs my knee was touching right at the air cleaner´s elbow, now with the extensions my legs go underneath the air cleaner well clear of touching anything. Perfect :2thumbs:

I am quite tall so I needed the extensions regardless as with the stock set up I was riding with my legs too drawn/folded?

Good clearance if your controls are out far enough to stretch your legs out.... where did you get you extentions Franco?

I need a lower seat on the LE or extended controls cuz it crimps my legs too much and I'm only a 5'9"er.

I'll probably start by massaging my seat a little...

I have a horizontal powerflow on my Bulldog and its no prob.

A little comparison.

First of all I would get rid of the Push-forward seat, you might not need the extensions with the normal seat. Or get a low profile one made from Sterling's Cycle Accessories. (see last pic)

I got the extensions from Forward Control Extension Kits for 2004 and Up Big Dogs

Both, Sterling & DM Custom are also members here. :2thumbs:

Here you can see... Big difference with the 3" extensions!

Before

After
