Manual Version

The original manual didn't have a lot of stuff in it when they first printed it. I guess they were in a hurry and the 05's had all the new features on them.

Anyway at the top of each page under the title on the second line it should say;
"Revision A 7-1-05"

I contacted BDM and they sent me out a new manual with all the new chapters and other stuff. My buddy got one and that's how I found out about all the new stuff!

Later,
Ray

When I ordered mine early early 2006 they didn't have the 2006's out. so I just picked up a 2005 from Vickie. Hasn't done me wrong yet.

She actually loaned me the 2006 manual so I could have something to read and keep me sane (don't know if that worked) while I was waiting for my bike to be assembled - and then swapped me for the 2007 when they came out - can't beat service like that! :up:

How come you don't have the 06 manual?
Hey Gents, a question for you... Is there a specific 06 Manual? All I could get hold of is a 05-06 Manual... or so I was told, I think it is an 05, and to be honest.. the printing is shocking, hard to read, it seems like it has been done with one of the old Typing machines!!!

Any chance of getting the "real" 06, please? my Dog is a 06 K9. Thanks guys.

:cheers:

I just got the 06 service manual and is is about useless. I need to know how to adjust the drive belt and remove the starter. Neither information is in this manual. I lacks most chapter in the book shown above. Not alignment/belt information, nothing on the starter, no troubleshooting section, which I would have loved to have had.
