Pipes Burning The Shit Outta EVERYONE!

Looking forward to retirement
i road the dog last night and thought of your problem. Do us a favor so we can help you. stand next to your bike by your handle bars and your gas tank. look streight down so you are directly over your right peg. and you can see the exhaust pipe and take 2-3 pictures then 2 more closer up by the motor looking down. I want to see the distance from the pipe to the peg. I was at a red light last night and wanted to see how close I had to get before my pipe got hot on my boot. I had to take my boot off the peg and put it on the peg mounts and I was still 1'' away from the pipe. The pictures will tell me if I am right, but I think I figured your problem out. If I'm correct, farward controls and seats will not fix your problem. I believe your pipes are torques outwards. The pic's will confirm this. If i am correct you will need to loosen your entire exhaust brackets , engine flange bolts also and turn them into your bike more. I think the front pipe is rotated out at the motor exhaust flange putting the pipe right next to your boot. If this is the case then HELL ya you will burn your leg off! Anyone who has put a couple of sets of pipes on will understand you can put the pipes on and all the brackets line up but the pipes are not sucked up right next to the bike. I guarantee you I can take 70% of the pipes on the market, put them on a bike, attach all the brackets and have the pipes so far away from the motor that you will have 1'' of peg for your boot to rest on. I'll bet you a Dr Pepper I'm correct. look at the picture of my bike and look at the distance between the peg's and the pipe.
