Well after messing around on internet I finally found a company that will provide us with Ridgeback's 330 tires as I sent an email with size, etc. to request info just for hell-of-it. "Kevin" the manager wrote back, quote; "We will open a mold for production if I provide a sample". The company is Qingdao Runtung Rubber Co., LTD, located in China. If we order a lot of 500 the price will be (Kevin estimated) $28.50(USA) FOB. No kidding! That's what the manager wrote me back. And we thought Avon was our only source!!!!!!!!!!!! :job: And mgr. in China named Kevin !!!??? :loony:

As fast as you go through tires are you sure 500 is enough you can get even a better deal on 1000 i bet and if you order more than that you can probably get them for FREE. Ya right Kevin from China!!

Sorry, but count me out. They can not make a 330 Big Dog tire for 28.50. If this were true, I take 4 common 305R70-16 for my truck for less than $100 US. I'll mount them, balance them, and evaluate them. BTW, what tires do they produce and what is the website? This guys name isn't Kevin either.

I import a lot of stuff from overseas. There is definitely a mis-communication from Kevin....

buyer beware!!!

I know a company that invested $600 million in China and received nothing in return. I would be very cautious here.

I just posted because I thought it was kinda funny...no way would I ever think of buying a first run tire from China without testing and analytical results. My bud just bought a "knockoff" set of PING golf clubs that were made in China and they look and feel like the real thing though. Personally, I think it's BS that American companies get ripped off like this and China takes jobs from the USA. Just IMO.

Its more than just BS
An American Company can't have something on the market for a few months and the Asians are immediately dumping knock offs on us but what do we do.
I know, I know...."Buy American"
Well let me tell you when I do no one wants to pay what it cost......
