I spent yesterday laying a good friend to rest he was way to young. And watching his wife with there 6 month old son broke my heart. It kind of makes me feel selfish celebrating today with my kids but also makes me cherish all the time I have had and times to come. Just feel kinda mixed up.

Sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers for he left behind.

The grave will always be the separation no one asks for, but will always be there. We are all on borrowed time so enjoy life and those you love.

Well I had a wonderful day with my kids. They all pitched in and bought me a complete wiring kit and new pdm for my bike. They also paid my local shop to install it so all I have to do is get it done. My son also bought a new crane hi-4 ignition module for me so I will get that done at the same time. Funny how they can turn my day around and make me smile.

So you're probably familiar with the paccar mx engine. I just love working on those....NOT! I'm at a Kenworth dealership.

It's definitely job security. How about the DEF systems? Even more fun on top of the DPF's.

I agree with Carlos. I heard someone say just a few weeks ago Death could be just an exhale away from catching up with any of us. None of us are promised tomorrow so we all need to make sure sure everyday we leave nothing undone or unspoken.
I spent the entire weekend with my two grand daughters one is 10 and the other one 3 . We had a blast all weekend drinking Yoo-Hoo's and eating pizza. The house looks like a very small tornado has been here for a couple days. Sometimes the little dog we have hides from the little one . All in all it was a good weekend and Father's day.
Let me share a little bit about my Father. He came from "real country folks". They lived on out beyond God's country as city folks call it , out in the country, way out there. He was raised in an ole slap board two room house complete with an out door john about 75 yards from the house. On a hot summer's night you didn't need a light to find it either, there were snakes and spiders that hung out there from time to time. Eggs came from chickens and
milk came from cows and goats. Hunting season was possibly all year long back then and food was not wasted at all. My Grandfather owned and ran a saw mill so all the brothers and sisters knew how to work. My Father got a job at the Electric company as a lineman about the time he married my mother and I came along afterwards. He was a deacon in the church where we attended that is still there today. He was a man that everyone liked and I have never ever heard anyone say anything bad about Him other than he had a quick temper but not a vicious temper as I have had said about me. ( I am doing better! :) From what I remember and what I have been told he was one of those special people we sometimes get to spend time with in life. He was and still is my Father. There is probably not too many days that I don't think about Him and I always think good thoughts about him because I will see Him soon.
July 20th 1962 He lost His life when a highvoltage line He was working on grounded out on Him when they still wore the rubber sleeves/gloves just up right below the elbow. That was His time and I believe He has been in God's hands tottally ever since that moment, and speaking for my ownself, shame on me for ever wanting back from there.

God Bless all the Father's and Grand Father's and especially those that are missing their Father's as well,

Ray
