Opinion on tire issue. New tire with less than 400 miles. Picked up a machine screw in center of tire. New tire or patch? Hard to find tire as is not to mention closest shop with extended lift is 200 miles away. Any suggestions? Scott

Any shop will tell you to replace it as a safety concern. I had 460 miles on my 300 tire and plugged it. I now have just over 15,000 miles and still good.

Plug it, because my life isn't worth the $350 it would take to get a new tire. (<---- insert sarcasm)

:up:Well, just worried he may be really new and wouldn't want to let him hear the part that it may be alright to plug especially if he can swing for a new shoe. But yes Kapt, a little strong, I think its the Caffeine:up:
