Hi Jim, i have one in my K9.
Installed it 4 months ago, no problems ..............yet.
Can't remember the company, but if you google it, there is one for the Dog's.
I had to do some serious hacking to get it to fit into my primary, has quietened down a bit also.

I upgraded to one on my HD.

I had to remove it. Due to my turrets riding style it kept ratcheting the chain tighter and tighter.

It flat spotted the outer part of the chain. The shavings made a mess in the clutch and the stator. It also is the possible cause of my butterflied flywheel.

So if you crank on the throttle and engine brake all the time, beware it might overtighten the chain and cause more issues than just having to adjust it at regular intervals.

Sorry WSW. This forum is about sharing experiences. These were mine.

I have one in my 107. make sure you get a hydraulic tensioner. the rachet types will lock with too much tension if you get on it too much. I got mine from southern oregon hot bikes.

There is nothing to be sorry about
It wasn't my tensioner you were using
They either work or they don't

Thanks guys, had my primary off to check things out and thought I would get one and put it on now but it looks like it will have to wait until the next time.
The chain is a little too tight and have to back it off a little. Loved not having to think about it with a tensioner.
I contacted Hayden about one to fit the S&S on an 2008 K9 and all they said was If the primary case is the same as on a 2007-2013 Big Twin, then yes. The M6BT07 would be the one you need. Anybody know if it's the same?

No metal particals, no over tightening.
Seems to be workin fine.
