Add an LED to back fender for additional brake light?

Has anyone done this? Had a friend got rear ended last year by woman not paying attention. Looking at the brake lights on my Bulldog, thought it may be a good idea to add a red LED strip to the brake light and attached to the fender. Any thoughts good or bad?

I have one inlaid in mine. Works as a running light rather than a brake light though. just tied it into the tag light. :up:

Run a split strip from Radientz on mine as running, brake, and turn signals. Easy to wire in. Fab'd a bracket and used goop to mount it to the inside of the fender.
