Rear Fender?

Was curious if anyone had put a longer fender on a K-9 or any Bigdog?
Long as in curved to the ground huggen the tire.
Wonder how far you could go and still be able to take off tire without removing fender?
Just wondering thinking about a winter project.
Thanks for any info, fender size, company, etc....

I added 8" to mine a couple years ago. Cuts down on rainwater that always soaked my pack

Independant cycles east in Hanover PA. Jeff Kessel has built a couple of Pro-streets with a regular looking lengths on fenders. There just wide to accomadate the wide 300 tires. But I thought they looked great!

i'm supprised you haven't thought of putting a camper mod on your bike :D

For those of you that like the tire and the fender, this is what I did. Added a fender extension, cut out flames through the fender to keep tire semi exposed, but got the longer fender look also.

It's different and I like it. Whats the scoop on the extra rear lights hanging down there?

I didn't notice until it was blown up but might I ask why you didn't blend the seam of the two fenders together to make it look like a single piece?

Thanks everyone, enjoyed doing it.
Eric,
Just the way it worked out. I wasn't into welding it on, so it's actually a bolt on style fender.

Rob,
I would have a friggin spotlight on the back of my back if it would keep the idiots of our ass...but I do like to light up the back, the strip below the seam is a brake light and is BRIGHT.

Thanks for the info guys!
Brew bike looks sharp and love the lights at night :2thumbs:
Ray yours looks good also
Was looking for a fender that hugs the tire like the one thats on it but just a little longer, Could have it painted to match the rest of my flames, when passenger seat is on (99.9% of the time) it covers that awesome paint job.

Thanks again guys you all rock
