Check the headlight bulb. Bet both your high n low are out. Pull the bulb, put in a new fuse and see if it starts.......

I need the instructions BAD. My bike is down. Wireplus been fine for 4 years, but 20A fuse keeps blowing when I hit the start button. The fuse supplies the power module from the battery.

Yea after I went back and read my original post, I see I hung my ass out there to get kicked around a bit.

I know it's a ground problem somewhere. I put it away one day then next day, fuse keeps blowing. Wtf?! That post had the wiring diagram I need. Got a pm to jake. Keep ya posted.

Thanks for the diagram. That is what I needed.
So I check all the Wireplus deutsh connections. Good. The fuse was blowing when I hit the start button. Sounds like a clunk in the starter then instantly the fuse blows. Put in a new fuse tried to start with my slam switch, spins like a blender but doesn't engage. So I'm thinking starter clutch is bad. Also when I pull the solenoid green wire the fuse doesn't blow when I hit the start button. You think bad starter clutch is blowing the fuses?

So the 20A fuse to the wireplus power module kept blowing when I hit the start button. Found out it was actually the starter. Pulled it, sent it to Curtis at WILD STEED WORK. Wow WHAT A GREAT JOB! I sent the starter on a Friday, Curtis rebuilt and returned in EXACTLY ONE WEEK.

Here was the problem:
No lubricant in gearing, clutch, or solenoid
Clutch Bearing semi frozen
Solenoid Bearing locked into solenoid
Solenoid actuator melted in place
SOLUTIONS
Cleaned thoroughly
Replaced semi frozen clutch bearing
Replaced solenoid actuator connector
Trued and polished commutator
Installed New Solenoid Gasket
Installed Upgraded Starter Motor housing Quad Gasket
Installed New Starter Motor Lead Boost and Grommet

So put rebuilt starter back in bike, put in a new 20A fuse, kept my fingers crossed, hit start button, and fired right up. I am back in business with minimal down time. Curtis is the man. :2thumbs::cheers:
