I need pipes!

I'm not certain if the Hooker Headers long-shot pipes originally came on my Vintage Sport, but the heat shield on the front pipe was making contact with the nose cone and had a slight crack in it when I purchased it.

Friday afternoon, the heat shield cracked all the way across. Hooker Header, to the best of my knowledge, no longer makes pipes for bikes.

Gonna have to find a different set, and was leaning toward a 2-into-1 setup.

Here's my question...most of the major outlets do not list Big Dog as a manufacturer, so what would be the equivalent Harley model I should look at as far as proper fitment goes?

I had a buddy trying to do the same for his Thunder Mountain Harley, I think the first guide is a Harley model with the same tire size as your Vintage. Someone may have a solid answer for you though.

In 2000 BD went to the Vance & Hines 2 into 1 Pro-pipe and they still support it. However that was for the 107. You have the 96, I think. I just bought a new end cap and stock baffle from them for my original set-up. Going to try the 1" hole drilled in the baffle cap (I think Ray recommended this). Won't be able to report on how it does until I get to Phoenix and install it next week. Anyway the V&H Pro-pipe is a good one and I think they can tell you about fitment.

Mine's actually the 107 also. I will check out the V&H pipe. Thanks for the input.
