PDM problems

After getting a pdm kit installed on my 08 k9 I am having some issues. Bike will cut out when switching between hi and low beams. Some times when you turn the key on, the bike is dead, cycle the key and it works again. These things only happen once in while, ANY THOUGHTS

i would look at the key switch first,, remove the switch and just jump the leads with a temporary toggle switch and see if that resolves your problem -- do a search for key replacement on this website... not sure about your headlamp,,, fix one thing at a time though

Thanks for the advice I am taking the bike to the shop that installed the pdm, they think it may be a gnd wire, but want to go thought the whole install. I will reply when it gets fixed.

Got the bike back, two wires were touching and the bike cutting out problem seems to be fixed but I am still having a problem with the turning the key on and the bike is dead. Cycle the key off than on and every thing is fine.
