Piece of gravel poked hole in the belt, not real bad & probably been ok for who knows how long, but wasn't comfortable venturing too far from home with it.
But, dang changing a belt on a soft tail is a pia.
So, while I was at it figured I just as well change out the pulleys.
New transmission pulley on left, old one on right
New rear pulley on left, old one on right, worn with no teflon & stone damage.
Look ma, no teeth. Stator rotor had no teeth, good thing I got into this thing.
Now how in the hell does all this stuff go back!
This looks a lot better!
Finally all done.
BDL 2" EV 575 with 1 1/2" primary offset & 2" pulley offset.
