NO SPEEDOMETER

GOT MY TRANSMISSION BACK FROM ANDREW AND MY STARTER BACK FROM CURTIS EXCELLENT JOB BY BOTH GUYS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH VENDORS AND JUST NICE GUYS TOO. NOW BACK TO AN OLD MYSTERY,SINCE I PUT THE WIRE-PLUS ON MY K-9 MY SPEEDOMETER DOESN'T WORK. I HAVE TRIED A NEW SPEED SENSOR A DIFFERENT SPEEDOMETER CHECKED THE WIREING DIAGRAM A HUNDRED TIMES. CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME HOW I CAN WIRE IT A DIFFERENT WAY TO MAKE IT WORK. I KNOW I DON'T NEED ONE BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE. ANYBODY PLEASE ?

From memory there is one circuit from the speed sensor to the speedo.

You can run a new wire temporarily just to verify its not grounding somewhere and it's continuous.

Is the speedo you swapped a known working speedo? Should be if not.

Red from WP connector #1/pin 5 should go to the speedometer and to the speedometer sensor. The green wire on the sensor (was A-7 on EHC) should go directly to the green wire (was B-50 on EHC) on the speedometer. Blacks on both sensor and speedo should go to ground.

Is that now you have it wired?

Yes i haveA-7 and b-50 together, now my plans say locate orange/white connector jumper wire in kit plug the end with the socket installed into position 5 of plug#1. Route other end into Pos,3of plug# 2 Install socket and insert into plug .then cut the following wires and attach using a butt connector from kit to splice wire of the connector jumper .A-15speed sensor B-31speedometer B-32 annunciator all three wires go into one side of butt connector.

The orange/white wire from the kit connects to WP connector #1/pin 5 then runs to WP connector #2/pin 3. Then, it needs to be connected to the wires that were originally on the EHC at A-15, B-32, and B-31. How you choose to run those is up to you. That orange/white wire is the power wire that I called "red" in my previous post. My bad for thinking WP would have maintained the color coding already in place on the Dog...

Does that make better sense?

The instructions you quoted from the wire plus lead me to believe you are talking about your ’07 K-9. If this is the case then all you need for your spedo to work is:
1. power and ground to the speedo.
2. power and ground to the speed sensor.
3. A signal wire (green) between the two.
Make sure both black wires at the speedo are grounded (one is tach/indicators, the other is speedo)
