Hey Guys,

I got a new paint saver gas cap and screw in tank piece. I am looking for someone that has the removal tool for the tank insert that they would be willing to part with. Shoot me a PM if you have one and the price.

Thanks in advance

Matt

If you have some kind of surplus store near you
Find a large bolt and nut that fit the tank thread
Thread the bolt in slightly and tigthen the nut to the tank
The thread doesn't have to be perfect just fit enough to get the nut to tighten to the tank
Works like a charm.

Get a flat piece of steel measure the holes on the paint saver drill holes to match get two self tapping screws run them down just enough not to touch the paint get heat on it and go to town

Hey Fiber,

I got a PM from him, I think it was meant for you?... I don´t have it anymore as I deleted it after replying to him about the tool being at home in Spain and it would take awhile for me to send it back to the States from where I am...

I am sure he will reply soon.

Thanks Fibersnake for the tool. Just outta curiosity does that paint saver screw out the opposite way the cap would screw in? Its the right side cap with the vent.
