I can do a First Gear Jacket Liner for $145 plus freight .A single controller would run $60. Great product.

Dress in layers. Works for me in Colorado. T-shirt, long sleeved shirt, sweat shirt or hoodie, leather jacket, and sometimes leather vest too. Gauntlet gloves and something to block the face.....good to go.

Gerbings has extra elements in the neck to warm the blood going to your noggin so it stays warm, too.

Heat wise, no.

The micro and nano wires are more flexible and you feel them less.

It was for me, but you have to make that call. I still have my original ten year old stuff as a backup. The stuff lasts.

My GF had custom leather overalls made. Can wear them with nothing under or long underwear if you want. Then any type jacket on top

They run about $300 +options. I've seen others much cheaper, but nothing close to the quality of these. They are made to last a lifetime.

I actually found a Gerbings jacket, gloves and temperature controller used for $120. The snow on the roads has prevented me from trying it out but I'll give my review when I get on the bike.

there is a controller that lets you control how hot your heated gear is and I was windering if you were using one. I pretty much have the answer from some of the other comments.
