Any difference between 07 & 08 K9's.

Yes I'm still looking for a K9. Have been looking at 2007's in my search. One reason is price and the other is I like the wheels better. Then Joey1158 brought this o8 to my attention and the wheels are growing on me, still like the 07's wheels better. Just wondering what else might be different/better in the 2008 model K9.

I have an '07 and love the wheels but those are damn nice, too. And $16K for only 1183 miles! That's a pretty good price right there.

I agree with that perfect bike scenario. Look at how many you've looked at and for how long and yet still haven't found 'perfect'. Buy a good one and then make it perfect! That price is 'killer' all things considered.
He sounds like a "tire kicker" to me.

Well... I just talked to the seller of the 08 near Boston and he needs the money to pay off the bank to get the title. I pay him, he pays the bank and will send me the title.

Is there a good way to do this?

That sounds risky to me, I have the bike with no title depending on someone I don't know to send me a title.

I guess next step is to find out if there is anybody near West Boston that could look at it for me.

You should pay his bank not him then the bank sends you title and lean release.
Talk to his bank they will do this for your safety. When ever buying something with a lean you deal with the lean or else you hoping that he pays it. When I sold my boat that I had a loan on the buyer paid my bank directly best for everyone.
