clutch not changing to netral!!!!!!

Big Dog Bikers,

I bought a K9 one month ago and when ride it that the transmission not changing to neutral when I stop until give throttle then it change ,but when moving it changing. I have changed the transmission oil and clutch cable ,but nothing new.

could any advise:bang::bang::bang::bang:

You have to blip the throttle in many cases with these dogs, just a short blip usually lets it slip right in to Neutral.

I shift to neutral as I am rolling up to a stop. Much easier than trying to dick with it while you are stopped.

In my opinion the clutch is not adjusted just right. You can live with it and probibly not hurt a thing or you can adjust the clutch so it works the way it should.

I had same problem, went into the primary with a nut and screw thingy and redid adjjusting cable turnbuckle.

Havnt been able to take it out since, it hasnt been above 40:( and today i think we are going to end up with 7-9 inches of snow :angry:

That's what I did and it made the bike smoother to shift and get into N than my Goldwing. Just follow KnotSo's link and you will be all set, it's a 10 minute adjustment.
