Ok so i was replacing my fork seal and the bushing has rubbed thru and wont seal anymore. so looks like i need new fork tubes. I found a set from a 06 K9 that are +12's. Will these work on my 04 Chopper? i havent found a definate answer by searching but some mention that the chopper are +10. If i swap my trees to the 06 k9 also would that give me more rake and work?

Mine wore the chrome so I picked up a pair at my HD dealer here in Rapid City. 10 Over for our bike for $239 for both down tubes

i will more then likely just replace them with the +10's but kinda intrigued me to do +12's and a +6 raked tree. if anyone has done this post up because im still thinking this would give it a better look.

There was a pic on here somewhere recently.
"What do I have" our something like that.
It was what appeared to be an 03 chopper with a K9 front end.
Looked kind of strange to me.
I'll see if I can find it.

I would think it would have to.
They designed the K9 right in that sweet spot for choppers.
I can't imagine changing it just for looks
Unless of course all you do is look at your chop

that was my thought. The trail would increase and I would think it would make steering tougher. I just don't get involved in front end changes so I was interested in hearing from someone that know about that area.
