I have the Taylor Thundervolt 8.2 Bought them thru Sumax - you can have them custom cut to length and they have a bunch of different colors to choose from

I had TACH issues with the initial set of Twisted Wires, returned them and discussed the issue w/Andy at Crowe Cycles. They made a special set supposedly with 2500 OHMS, no issues with the TACH since I installed them about a month ago.

I disected one of the Twisted wires and found that there was a 7mm prowire inside. The outer thicker colored part is just cosmetic.

Adam---don't have a part number but if you go on sumax.com you can look up spark plugs, they have 4 or 5 different kinds. i got the thundervolt 8.2 but they also have 10. i run with dual coils so i need a 90 degree spark plug boot and a 180 degree coil boot.

Adam,

Have no idea, , Andy (Crowe Cycles) said they'd have to make a special set and increase the OHMs; when I received the box 2500 was written on the outside, said he's had to do this for other Big Dogs. I guess some work with the standard 40 OHMs and some don't. It's cold here but I did take it out for +/- 50 miles on Friday, all seemed OK, no fluctuation of the TACH.

I agree with the statement "If they work, they work". If they don't, try another set in my opinion. There is always a bad apple in the batch!
