As most know I am trying to buy a 07 K9 from the St Louis area off e-bay. With 1495 miles on it how long before the electrical systems starts giving me grief. Assuming nothing has been changed yet will it last for a while, never give me problems, already be a problem or you just never know?

The 03 chopper I store at my shop for a friend, has 20 some thousand on it. It has been rode hard, rode many days in the rain on road trips, power washed, and sits for months on end without being on a battery tender. It still has the original EHC, and I think the head light bulb was changed once. Don't treat your Dog this way, but it just goes to show you, that not as fragile as most make them out to be.

None here either, 18,5K miles.....

The main thing a lot of fellas don't understand is; if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Keep it dry and don't ever try to jump start it. Don't hook up anything to the electrical system. When the battery gets weak replace it.
