07 SPEED SENSOR

This is the part # on BDM PP (BDM170-00369) it says it fits 2006 - 2010
Good Luck finding one it appears BDM doesn't carry this item anymore. Try Bigdogpartsking or shovelheadkicker same guy on ebay or PM him he is a member on here.

Sense Or Sensor?
nobbyjohn, does the part not work or does it not fit? The info that Little-Boo (Carlos) offered is right on. I have traded with Bigdogpartsking and you will have nothing to worry about trading with him. On the other hand have you tested the parts for continuity/resistance? Just a hunch. My speedo doesn`t work until around 8 to 10 miles of riding when starting out after a couple of days sitting still. It matters not whether the sensor is squeaky clean or dirty, in hot or cold weather. My speedometer was replaced at 14,000mi. through a warranty claim. The tachometer and odometer work right away starting out but the speedometer is just one of the little idiosynchriosities that endure me more and more to my beloved K-9. This is what makes our Big Dogs so wonderful: they have souls! Everyones chop has little moods or particular ways they prefer to be operated and handled, don`t try to deny it. I`d swear at times, sometimes literally, that they are live entities and can be moody as hell!

Thanks again Carlos for helping me out, BDPP sent me the wrong part #171-000264-00.I hope they didnt send it just on the off chance it might work,if they no longer carry the wright part #. Cause when i instaled it my bike wouldn't start or even click .The total bill was 91.25
Something is not right, because I checked again and again it gives me the same Part # (BDM170-00369). However, I ran the Part # they sent you and it's a Speed Sensor for all BDM from 2005 to 2011. So they sent you one that should have worked. The price is $86.25 each. I would call Bob and tell him the sensor did not work and to send you a replacement. :2thumbs:
