I am purchasing a 7 x 14 enclosed trailer soon for my 2009 Wolf and would like to advertise our brand on the rear ramp door and possibly the sides. Can you guys and girls show me what you have done before? I also have found a photo that was done by possibly some of the former factory painters and airbrush artists that I find very desireable to reproduce for my personal trailer. I have e-mailed BDM Performance Products to obtain their permission to reproduce this as a rear ramp door decal....stay tuned for their reply! I will try and post this art work for all to see....it is awesome....not at home now but have file on home computer.....it is real fire airbrush with the "Big Dog Motorcycles" burning.....way cool! It would be an awesome graphic if I can get a high enough resolution photo...and their permisiion of course.

Sounds awesome. I'm no lawyer, but I don't think you need permission to put an emblem on a personal trailer. As long as you're not using it to make money, etc. don't think permission is required. And if I'm a company and someone wants to advertise my brand to everyone on the highway on a nice, new, personal trailer, I'm all for it. Looking forward to seeing the pics when completed.

I drove around for at least a year with the harley logo on my trailer. Finally ended up painting it white.

Here's mine, but I don't like to advertise whats in it.
I'm with you. Rather not advertise whats in it. Just asking for additional unnessary prying eyes. But hey do what you want and thats why you got insurance. I just know the hassle with dealing with something and trying to recoup your cash through insurance will be difficult.

Simple yet clearly not a Harley trailer!. Then I have the 3 X 24 stickers on the sides that say since 1994.

Thanks Guys!

All of those look awesome! Yes I think all of these look great. I am not so worried about thieves as I don't let things out of my sight too long so I am just searching for tasteful graphics that are clean looking. Check this article out.....Inside The Big Dog Factory

This has the picture of the " Big Dog Motorcycles" sign on the easel in their paint shop....obviously done by one of their artists. Just an awesome flame paint job airbrushed.....that is the graphic I would like to have on my rear ramp door. How do you all like that? Plus the whole article and pictures are fantastic!

I can understand shipping the bike somewhere for a special event due to time constraint/work, but I can not in my wildest imagination see where a truck and trailer could make it and my bike not. I can also see people using a trailer for race bikes as I did this for years, but my Big Dog was made to be ridden and ridden it will be. For longer trips (3000+ miles) I use my good ole Goldwing since the journey really is the thrill more than the destination for a biker.

I like trailers as much as I like cars on Main Street during Bikeweek, there is a reason we carry cans of spray paint.

You can do what ever you want with the logo as long as you don't try to profit from it. The trick is finding somone to print/cut you the logo. That guy would be profiting from it, which would be illegal. I had a big Harley sticker made for my camper shell and had t-shirt using the Harley symbol with different writing. Both times I had people I knew do the work so they were willing to do it without worrying about the copyright infringement.

I lived in North Jersey for most of my life and had 2 bikes stolen. I bring my trailer for peace of mind at night when I lock it up.

PERMISSION GRANTED FROM BDM!!

Well everyone I got a call from Sheldon Coleman's personal assistant and they gave me one time permission to reproduce the photo I wanted to use for my trailer graphic! Class act all the way and rapid response! I told her to tell Sheldon how much I appreciated their decision.....so no copyright issue for me. Glad I asked for permission!:flag: They e-mailed me an official permission letter.......class act!
